One of my favorite drinks came out of Taiwan.  Bubble milk tea.  At first I wasn’t sure about the black gummy tapioca balls that came shooting through the straw, but now I can’t get enough.  I walk through Chinatown to get to Kung Fu Tea on Hester and Chrystie where I can get a customized tea drink deciding what kind of tea, milk, and sugar level.  I also travel to TKettle on St. Marks Pl and Thirsteaon 10th street between A and 1st for their black sesame or taro bubble tea. Some people can’t stand the texture but I’m a pulp person and always will be. Don’t mind while I chew my drink.
